As I was walking into St Vincents Maternity ward to meet little Estelle only just born, I couldn't help but think to myself how utterly lucky I am to call this my job.
To be welcomed into the newborn love bubble, and capture it. Forever having those beautiful memories of the beginning.
Only a couple of weeks lates Estelle visited me in my home studio. It amazes me how much they change in such a short time! She is such a beautiful little baby,
I bet you will agree :)
This weekend i have been so blessed to photograph three different mothers and their children.
Theres nothing more beautiful than the love between a mother and her chid.
Being a mother is the hardest but most rewarding job in the world and it needs to be documented.
We need to be in photos with our kids. To remember how they looked at us. Remember how they used to fit so snug into our arms. Remember the time when we were their whole entire world and all that they needed.
If you haven't been strawberry picking, i highly suggest it!!
My kids had the best time and miss Blake, well look for yoursrelf. Once she realised it was food Tommy was in fact picking, she had the time of her life. I was trying to clean the strawberries first but she was way too fast for me hehe!!
I will never forget this beautiful moment between my kiddies. I asked Tommy to teach Blake how to pick a strawberry and as i was reaching down for my camera i heard a squeal! and
We are always the ones behind the camera. Its time to step in front, to be in the photographs with your beautiful children. Its so important to exist in images.
Most women always have an excuse, i need to lose weight, i need to save to buy the perfect outfit etc.
But in the eyes of our children we are perfect. We don't need to change ANYTHING. We need to remember the now, so its not forgotten later.
What are you waiting for?
Its time to get in front of the camera, and
When my beautiful friend first messaged me to let me know to keep a date free my heart burst with excitement <3 She was about to welcome another little boy!
Big brothers Harley & Zane were beaming ear to ear, so excited to meet their little brother. And as you can see from the pictures below, they are both so very smitten with him xx
I really do have to pinch myself that this is my job <3 #newbornphotographermelbourne #melbournebabyphotographer #newbornphotographymelbourne
